The main difference between a web-comic and a print comic is that one is on the internet, and the other is in your hands.

Reading a web-comic is different because, in order to make the experience as enjoyable as possible, you may have to fiddle with your web-browser a bit. Never fear, here is the Asplenia Studios quick and easy guide to reading web-comics!

Step 1: Making it comfortable for YOU! The first page of the web-comic is where you want to maximize your viewing experience. Look at the screen. The most important part is being able to read the text. Using your web-browser’s controls, zoom in or out until the text is as small as possible while assuring that you can read it clearly without straining your eyes. This maximizes the amount of the page visible on your screen, so that you don’t have to scroll up or down too much.

Step 2: Navigating the web-comic. The Asplenia Studios website uses an ImageBrowser function to navigate the webcomic. Underneath each comic is a Back and Next button. Clicking on one of these buttons will navigate you backward or forward in the comic’s storyline.

We are currently looking into other programs that will allow you to also jump to the first or last comic in the storyline, as well as use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate (making it a mush more pleasant experience. We will update you when these options become available.
